Sashiko is a type of traditional Japanese embroidery or stitching used for the decorative and/or functional reinforcement of cloth and clothing. This Sashiko iteration of the adidas ultra boost sale is also made with with Primeblue, a high-performance recycled material made in part with Parley Ocean Plastic. 50% of the upper is textile, 75% of the textile is Primeblue yarn. The Sashiko-inspired pattern dons a White and Blue patchwork weave that covers the majority of the upper that is then paired up with the translucent lace cage and heel counter.
