The next Muppets movie is set to release on the 23rd of November. To commemorate the event, adidas has redesigned one of their most iconic silhouettes in the form of the Adidas Originals Superstar Womens “Kermit the Frog”. Designed with an all-green upper, yellow accents, as well as a collar crown that matches the jagged collar of the Kermit himself, this pair is definitely one of the most unique redesigns ever completed by adidas Originals. 

The Adidas Originals Superstar Mens, originally introduced in 1969, is one of the first low-top basketball shoes to ever see production. Today, this shell-toed icon has begun surfacing at select retailers in a simple yet stunning colorway. White leather is used as the base material, while red leather accents can be seen on the three-stripe logo, heel tab and tongue branding. Although this model has long passed its prime as a “performance” sneaker, the Superstar II is still one of the most easily recognizable silhouettes on the market. 

It may only be February, but the year of the Adidas Originals Superstar White is in full effect. The iconic shell-toed sneaker gets another fresh look added to its repertoire, with this all-blue-everything edition in suede. From the top to the bottom, a dash of metallic gold is the only other color you’ll see, as even the tongue and heel branding gets a tonal debossed treatment.

adidas’ big push for the iconic Adidas Originals Superstar Black marches on this year by giving the shell-toed sneaker another all-new take with the “Pixel Camo” construction. The unique treatment is characterized by a premium leather upper perforated strategically to form subtle shapes of camouflage across the upper. For the colorway we see here, you’ll get a predominantly white upper accented with navy blue at the tongue with a modified shape and heel tab.
