Congrats to the MARC Team at 2012 LeMans | general | Forum

Kevin – Thanks for the kind words, the team really was pleased with our results.  We went in knowing that 2nd was a lofty goal looking at the caliper of this year's teams.  It was a real nail biter, because of our qualifying position (something that does need to improve) we ran the center lanes early in the race.  We knew we'd be vulnerable when we got to the outside lanes.  We ran Erik Eckhardt and Jonathan more than normal in the gutters and they were able to keep us in second despite pressure from DHORC and the other teams pushing us hard.  Considering the strength of Wrun Wragged, I really do feel we finished first in the non-Wrun Wragged category!
