After March’s travel-inspired collaboration with Oyster Holdings, adidas is bringing back their adidas sko and they’re using it to show some love to the Russian capital city of Moscow with two new colorways of the shoe featuring gold “Moskova” (the Russian word for Moscow) branding and stripes inspired by the colors of the seats in Moscow’s Luzhniki Stadium. The first sneaker features a premium black leather upper with orange/yellow stripes, orange heel detailing, and a yellow adidas stamp on the textured tongue. The second colorway opts for a white leather upper with scarlet and orange stripes, scarlet heel detailing, and an orange tongue stamp. Each sneaker also feature a leather liner and a classic white 350 midsole.

After teaming up with Dame D.O.L.L.A. for NBA All-Star Weekend, Virginia Beach’s very own Pusha T is back for another collaborative project with the adidas ozweego. Repositioning himself back into the lifestyle category, the Daytona rapper is continuing his run of the adidas Ozweego and once again calls upon the folks over at Call of Duty to accompany him in the design. Serving as a follow up to their “Kingslayer” rendition that dropped in limited quantities of 300 last Fall, this forthcoming rendition is crafted with a much darker-toned motif. Upper structures are now presented with stealthy black skins, and deviate mostly within the differences in textures through its mesh and suede materials. Accents lean solely on army navy blues to apply towards the base’s underlays and heel tubing, as well as the full treading down below. Moreover, insignias reflective of the first person shooter’s beloved Modern Warfare video game are stamped onto the rear’s oval-shaped panels.

The last decade has seen an explosion of “do-it-yourself”-ers thanks to social media platforms. And the biggest names in the sneaker space have noticed. The nike air max 97/90 “DIY Flare” is a perfect example. At first glance, this iteration of the 23-year-old silhouette isn’t out-of-the-ordinary. Predominantly clad in shades of white and grey, uppers maintain their signature, Christian Tresser-designed details: vamp overlays, reflective accents, tongue and heel pull tabs and mudguards. The most latter component, however, features special rub-off materials that enable customization from either wear or acetone application. Although not as extensive as with the recently-seen Air Max 98 Tear-Away, the “do-it-yourself” spin on the Air Max 97 is equally rooted in the ever-growing consumer desire to be unique.

The Olympics may not be going down this year, but it appears that the roll out of the celebratory footwear that Beaverton had in mind for the international events are still going according to plan. “Worldwide” themes galore have already appeared on staple models such as the nike air force 1, Air Max 95, and more, and now they’re about to hone in on another Air Force 1 variation made specially for the very country that was going to host this Summer’s festivities: Japan. Uncovered by @solebyjc, this forthcoming iteration is flashy in nature and merges overlays displaying all-over Nike branding with midfoot/toe box paneling standing out in vibrant yellow. Swooshes arrive bordered with thick black outlines, and the translucent midsoles allow wearers to peak through to its oversized Japanese characters blown up across its treading.[Image: 365days0664.jpg]
